Description + Drive and coordinate repair, mods and upgrades and Design for Repair (DfR) development and qualification projects (technical and timeline responsibility) + Support implementation of new repair technologies (e.g. additive manufacturing), provide technical shop support and process related non-conformance evaluations + Collaborate with lifing & design engineering, quality and manufacturing to deliver repair solutions + Ensure documentation, tracking and communication of project achievements, risk assessments/mitigations and process qualifications + Contribute to cost-out initiatives and process improvements through structured project work + Collaborate with global teams and support knowledge transfer across regions Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science or related field + Experience: 15+ years minimum + Experience in manufacturing processes, materials behavior, design for manufacturing and/or repair technologies is preferred + Shown ability to handle technical projects including planning and coordination with an affinity for digital tools and data-driven problem solving + Experience with SAP and Mendix as well as basic programming or data analysis skills (e.g. Python, Excel VBA, SQL) are a plus + New Product IPT (Integrated Product Team) mentality with strong organizational and communication skills for multi-functional collaboration, proactive mentality, customer focused, structured working style and team-oriented attitude + Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 25%) for project and shop support activities and willingness to international partnership Experience Level Expert Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
