The Service Planner works closely with the Service Operations team during the preconstruction phase of EV, Energy and Operations and Maintenance work. This position is responsible for planning the execution of service work, developing budgets and outlining service plans that support safe, quality and efficient execution.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Associate Degree or relevant industry experience
Experience: 5 to 7 years of relevant industry experience
Travel: 25-35%
Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. Ability to work a flexible schedule is necessary.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
When visiting sites; conducts safety audits and works with leadership on any needed Corrective actions.Conducts assessments of deployed assetsCollaborates with Service team and Technical writing to develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for all Service tasks for new assets.Applies best practices, SOP’s and translates those to the Service team prior to start-up.Leads, assists and works with estimating team members in the development of labor budgets.Provides warranty support for deployed assets, helps process warranty claims and may work on site as needed.Assists in developing scope of work for Operations and Maintenance opportunitiesAttends site meetings and site visits as needed to document existing conditions.Performs other related duties as required and assigned.The job description and responsibilities described are intended to provide guidelines for job expectations and the employee's ability to perform the position described.
