Service PDI Supervisor

We’re hiring a talented Manufacturing Quality Supervisor. This role is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact to data quality and product quality.

The Role

Ensure all employees follow industry standard health and safety guidelines. Implement Lean Manufacturing process/initiatives to eliminate waste. Create an environment where every employee is valued for their contributions, and they understand how they impact the success of the company. Implement quality verification standards and control plans to ensure vehicle conformity and compliance to customer and regulatory requirements. Train and coach quality resources to get aligned with customer requirements and vehicle audit referential. Constantly coach/guide Service PDI Inspectors. Run Service PDI Inspection and Handover activities to ensure operation Safety, Quality & Delivery are being met. Track vehicle processing In Service PDI to ensure readiness for handover to Outbound within the agreed ETA date. Ensure reativity to issues, obstacles and constraints and report out results in regular basis as per management requirements and needs. Ensure escalation to Quality Operations Manager in case of deviation or escalation criteria is met. Track inventory/WIP and Service Pre-Delivery area with associated reaction and escalation. Implement cars hold and release when required. Ensure repair confirmation for vehicles coming from repair flow. Manage Service Pre-Delivery priorities versus Delivery/Sales needs and priorities In coordination with Outbound, Repair and Sales team to meet dispatching of cars to Sales and to Customers. Ensure coordination with OTA/Software team for Software updates. Ensure coordination with repair for vehicles readiness. Ensure coordination with cleaning and detailing team to ensure vehicles readiness and conformity. Ensure coordination with yard logisitics and outbound to manage priorities and vehicles flow. Ensure OTA and Government OTA update Is done In coordination with OTA team In USA. Collect feedback from the field and update Quality Inspection processes and standards accordingly to improve detectability at AMP2. Manage PDI priorities versus Delivery/Sales needs and priorities In coordination with Outbound, Repair and Sales team to meet dispatching of cars to Sales and to Customers. Analyze Service PDI escapes and Improve detectability. Take firm business decisions and apply extraordinary actions when required. Set challenging, create a monitoring process to ensure success, and continuously communicate the progress to the team promoting a solid engagement. Develop and implement robust training plans for PDI inspectors and PDI team members. Ensure full use and deployment of Sales Force Application for vehicle tracking, status update and records. Create, implement, and review all manufacturing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and workstation layouts; innovation and initiative are the base for continuous improvement. Specify all tooling and equipment for all current and planned quality inspection needs. Ensure Service PDI activities are conducted as per defined Standardized Work Instructions and Procedures. Train Service PDI Inspectors and ensure availability of tools, consumables and equipment. Forge excellent cross-functional relationships between Manufacturing, engineering, and other relevent departments.

The Qualifications:

Bachelor or 8+ years experience In automotive Industry or equivalent role Is required. English Language functional literacy. Arabic Is a plus. Automotive/Manufacturing/Quality experience is a must. Strong ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams. Good verbal, written, and presentation skills. Demonstrated leadership ability to build outstanding teams and interface with management level. Capability to implement and drive a quality operating system within the Quality department and interact with manufacturing areas. Experience methodizing production workstations for ergonomics and efficiency. Ability to create improvement/reaction plans to achieve targets. Familiarity with OEM quality inspection processes and standards. Ability to spot problems and errors and resolve issues with the appropriate department. Detail oriented with strong record keeping and organizational skills.

 

SKILLS

Knowledge of MS Office tools (MS-Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook). Team and conflict management. Creative, energetic, self-motivated and highly organized. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced office and plant floor environment with an eye for accuracy and attention to details Critical management skills with a high level of initiative and sound judgement. Experience using Sales Force application is a plus. Experience using Manufacturing Execution System is a plus.
