GENERAL PURPOSE
Responsible for working with engineering, product management, manufacturing, quality, new product development, supply management, pricing team supply, finance, product configuration analysts, product resources, product specialists, and other internal customers to help define, set-up and monitor service parts for Herman Miller and Knoll products.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assign manufacturing plant codes to products that populated with unknown plant site.
Assist Product Specialists and Design & Development teams with development of service parts.
Back-up for Product Resources to correct and validate product numbers that are incorrectly entered into the databases.
Build products and service parts for bill of material information.
Build service parts in Baan to get cost information.
Build service parts in Baan to identify where-used.
Check out appropriate files and make required changes or additions and republish product PDF.
Create and submit workflows in CSP to add, change or obsolete service parts; to change base price / up-charges.
Identify to Herman Miller and Knoll Engineering ECO's that need to be created to set-up new service parts or change existing service parts in Baan and appropriate drawings.
Monitor ECO's progress daily until ECO is complete.
Performs additional responsibilities as needed to achieve business objectives
Set-up new product lines and family groups as requested by the Product Specialists.
Update, add, edit or request FAQs as needed
Use Omni service parts to create requests for new products and parts, identify existing products and parts that need information changed or added, and publish new documents.

Education/Experience & Skills and Abilities
High school diploma or its equivalent or work experience which demonstrates performance competency.
Ability to work on tasks with minimal supervision.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Critical flexibility and adaptability skillsets
Demonstrated ability to effectively use office automation, communication, software, and tools used in the MillerKnoll office environment.
Self-starter with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle high pressure, deadline driven.
Ability to learn and use job specific databases and systems.
Must be able to perform essential functions of the position with or without accommodations.
