PURPOSE

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Windows Service Parts Coordinator.  This person will be the main point of contact for all service and warranty requests for windows and doors.  

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Act as the primary point of contact for all incoming service and warranty requests related to windows and doors, ensuring timely and clear communication with customers and internal teams. Gather comprehensive information about each service request, accurately log details into the tracking system, and promptly provide customers with estimated dates for resolution or next steps. Conduct thorough research and provide clear, well-informed responses to questions from the BFS team and external customers concerning service parts, warranty coverage, and repair processes. Serve as a backup resource for the Window Inside Service team by assisting with workload management and maintaining continuity during peak periods or absences. Organize and prioritize daily tasks effectively, pacing work to consistently meet or exceed established productivity targets related to daily operations, weekly goals, specific projects, and overall team performance.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

 

1 year window installation or service experience.

 

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

 

 

 

COMPETENCIES

 

Window installation or service experience Knowledge of construction   Strong attention to detail Knowledge of basic math and measurement skills Good communication and interpersonal skills Organizational Skills Time Management Valid Driver’s License

Subject to both typical office environment and outside locations with temperature and weather variations. Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently and on occasion up to 80 pounds. Work is performed on both company and customer sites and involves driving to customer locations. Subject to both typical office environment and outside locations with temperature and weather variations. May involve walking on uneven ground of a potential customer construction site.
