A new opportunity has arisen for a skilled Service Operations Supervisor to join our team in Jakarta, overseeing after-sales service operations and delivering technical excellence to our customers across the region. In this role, you will manage the technical service team, ensure compliance, customer satisfaction, and contribute to the growth of our mtu-brand service business.
Rolls-Royce Power Systems is headquartered in Friedrichshafen in southern Germany and employs around 9,000 people. The product portfolio includes mtu-brand high-speed engines and propulsion systems for ships, power generation, heavy land, rail and defense vehicles and for the oil and gas industry as well as diesel and gas systems and battery containers for mission critical, standby and continuous power, combined generation of heat and power, and microgrids.

Key Accountabilities
Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with Rolls-Royce and PT RRS Indonesia’s Code of Conduct, QHSE policies, ISO standards, and compliance requirements.Lead the service team in managing pipeline services and growing service revenue within the Indonesian market.Monitor safe, clean, and compliant work areas; enforce workplace safety and tool/equipment maintenance.Plan and assess manpower to support ongoing and future service operations.Supervise field and workshop activities: dismantling, inspection, repair, and reassembly of MTU engines per manufacturing standards.Oversee customer site support to ensure job quality and timely delivery.Lead technical troubleshooting, including electrical and mechanical diagnosis of engine issues.Prepare and ensure timely submission of technical reports and service documentation.Act as the main liaison with internal teams (e.g., logistics, HR, accounting) to ensure seamless service delivery.Set up training needs analysis and facilitate knowledge transfer from expatriate advisors to local technicians and engineers.Maintain strong communication and relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.Support tenders and contribute to long-term service contracts and business development initiatives.Perform other duties as assigned by management.Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.Minimum 6 years of experience in service operations, preferably in diesel engines, heavy equipment, or after-sales service environments.Prior experience with mtu or Detroit Diesel engines is a significant advantage.Strong team leadership skills with proven capability in managing field service teams.Excellent communication, customer-facing, negotiation, and presentation skills.Hands-on approach with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.High level of integrity, work ethics, and ability to work under pressure.Proficient in English, both written and spoken.Willingness to work in field and workshop environments.Why Join US?
