Service Officer (Commercial Servicing)
**Location:** 4910 Tiedeman Road - Brooklyn, Ohio 44144 **_Qualified candidate must be able to report to the office listed 2 times per week._** **Job Brief:** Responsible for servicing of assigned direct deals as well as working the KVD (Key View Deluxe) work queue for all bought deals consisting of a variety of products. Responsible for providing superior client service while maintaining risk management, compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements, and internal procedures and controls. **Essential Job Function:** + Servicing responsibility for assigned syndicated “bought” portfolio (least complex deals), KeyBank direct deals (least complicated), trading portfolio (as applicable) + Responsible for assigned tasks from workflow queue - + Entry Level understanding of Loan IQ and Stucky (as applicable) as well as business, Asset Based Lending (as applicable), Loan Trading (as applicable) including the financial and general ledger accounting entries + Reconcile Cash Collateral accounts in Hogan (as applicable) + Reconcile balances between Loan IQ and Stucky (as applicable) + Review trade documentation for Par Secondary and Primary loan Trading (including assignments, trade confirmations, funding memos and ancillary documentation) (as applicable) + Weekly balancing and reconcilement of trade activity (as applicable) + Report management + Proactively identifies and resolves risk management and client service issues, requiring interaction with agent bank and management; ensures appropriate balance between service and risk + Oversee and ensure funding requirements and requests are met + Ongoing maintenance; interact with agent banks and/or client for fundings, re-pricings, payments, disbursements and client requests + Support ongoing initiatives to enhance commercial lending platform and servicing structure + Offers suggestions to support a continuous improvement mindset + Adherence to timeframes for all required training **Required Qualifications:** + 2-year College Degree or equivalent commercial loan experience + Strong aptitude for analysis, systems and mathematics + Strong written and verbal communication skills + Strong planning and organizational skills + Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a high-volume environment + PC proficiency including familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience with loan participations/direct deals + Familiarity with commercial loan accounting systems + 4-year College Degree **Skills/Competencies:** **Analytical Thinking** Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems. **Adaptability** Knowledge of successful approaches and techniques for dealing with change; ability to adapt to a changing environment and be comfortable with change. **Collaboration** Knowledge of collaborative techniques; ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner. **Decision Making** Knowledge of the decision-making process; ability to carefully evaluate the impact of emerging business situations and choose the best path forward communicating actions and activities that maximize organizational performance. **Problem Solving** Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations. **Oral & Written Communication** Understanding of the importance of insightful listening and communicating and ability to provide information and messages in a way that produces clarity and impact. **Risk Management** Knowledge of processes, tools and techniques for assessing and controlling an organization's exposure to risks of various kinds; ability to apply knowledge of risk management appropriately to diverse situations. **Change Agility** Knowledge of the necessity to adapt self and team to evolving business needs; ability to develop and implement new ideas and initiatives that improve the organization's performance in light of new requirements. **Resilience** Knowledge of different types of resilience and its importance; ability to pursue goals with drive and energy in the face of resistance. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $50,000 to $65,000 annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
