We are seeking a Service and Network Issues Specialist (NOC Operator) to join our team in monitoring and responding to service disruptions affecting customers and the core telecommunications network. This role involves proactive surveillance of IP connectivity, routers, switches, fiber, power supplies, and other network infrastructure to ensure performance, reliability, and quick resolution of issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor network systems, services, and equipment for outages and performance issues.
Troubleshoot and escalate incidents to minimize downtime and customer impact.
Use diagnostic tools to monitor data center health, IP connectivity, and core network components.
Coordinate with technical teams during network outages and assist in service restoration.
Maintain detailed communication and documentation for incidents and resolutions.
Follow escalation procedures and contribute to process improvements.
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Math, or related field.
2–3 years of experience in a Network Operations Center or telecommunications role.
Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, VoIP, MPLS) and platforms (Windows, Linux, UNIX).
Experience with monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies.
Fully bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
