This role leads field service professionals across a large site and/or multiple locations, ensuring exceptional customer outcomes and operational excellence. **Key Responsibilities** + Lead, develop, and engage a high-performing field service team through effective talent attraction, retention, coaching, and performance management. + Translate customer requirements into workforce plans and objectives while maintaining strong visibility into KPIs, metrics, and service performance. + Oversee departmental budgets, manage expenses, and drive workforce planning initiatives. + Address and resolve employee relations matters while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. + Partner with regional resources and stakeholders to ensure alignment, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. + Ensure product, system, and water quality standards are met while maintaining appropriate inventory levels across complex or multiple sites. + Apply technical and operational expertise to support service excellence and drive long-term business success. + Travel is expected between Freson, CA and Sacramento, CA CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. + Create and maintain safe working environment and culture within the organization + Defines and drives (proactive) customer management, employee management, safety management, + interpersonal relationship and leadership skills + Demonstrates high impact safety culture through innovation, accountability and empowerment + Is agile in responding quickly to customer issues + Operational and strategic management + Autonomy to make decisions that impact divisional and cross-functional / commercial span of + control + Ensures cost/revenue support the financial goals of the P&L + Provides proactive direction to commercial teams to ensure service center objectives are achieved + Demonstrates leadership behaviors across organizational boundaries of candid communication, collaboration, developing people, embracing DEI and innovation + Support tasks as directed to hit target goals and maintain compliance. Travel Requirements: Company Vehicle Assigned + Some travel required + 15-25% overnight travel Driving Requirements: + Driver Application for Employment + Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) • Forms: + Driver Disclosure and Release + Employee Applicant Drug and Alcohol Statement + FMCSA Certificate of Awareness + Driver Certificate of Violations + Copy of Driver’s License QUALIFICATIONS: Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; or equivalent military experience; or applicable industry equivalent experience in lieu of degree Experience Requirements: + Ability to obtain all required customer clearances (TWIC, DISA, etc.) + Industrial or commercial process water experience required + 5 to 7 years of technical work experience or 3 years of industry specific experience • Combined with 3 years of leadership/management experience Skill Requirements: + Safety leadership + People management, ability to communicate up/down/across, ability to lead and motivate teams + Demonstrates critical thinking and complex troubleshooting in order to guide and advise team members and customers + Ability to defuse situations at a customer or internal issue. + Proficiency with computers and business software, such as Microsoft Office, Skype, Oracle/SAP, cloud-based solutions Xylem does not provide visa sponsorship for this position The estimated salary range for this position is $90,000 to $120,000 plus bonus and company vehicle assigned   Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.  At Xylem we offer a competitive compensation package with a generous benefit package, including Medical, Dental, Vision plans, 401(k) with company contribution, paid time off, paid parental leave and tuition reimbursement. **\#LI-JRT05** Join the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
