Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will be responsible for ABB Measurement & Analytics in UAE & cluster countries, focusing on field Instrumentation products and instrumentation service sales. The role requires expertise in ABB's range of field instrumentation, including pressure, temperature, flow, and level measurement devices. Ensure customer satisfaction through efficient service execution and contribute to service business growth. Responsibilities include commissioning, preventive and corrective maintenance, ser-vice contracts, telephonic support, and coordination of expert service teams when required. Additional-ly, the role involves generating service sales opportunities by actively engaging with customers. Be ready to travel within the region and globally if neededThe work model for this role (onsite) This role is contributing to Process Automation Business Area for Measurement & Analytics Division based in Dubai UAE.You will be mainly accountable for:•Performing after-sales site execution, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.•Providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for ABB’s field instrumentation products.•Executing commissioning, calibration, and routine maintenance of field instrumentation solutions.•Engaging in service sales by identifying customer needs and recommending ABB service offerings.•Ensuring compliance with global and local safety and operational standards.•Owning and delivering Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to service execution and customer satisfaction.•Actively participate in customer FAT, Pre-FAT, SAT, and other site activities.•Maintaining strong customer relationships and identifying potential service opportunities.•Coordinating with factories and subcontractors for any required support.•Supporting the sales team in developing service proposals and contract offerings.•Providing training to customers and channel partners on ABB's field instrumentation portfolio.•Managing documentation related to service activities, including reporting and billing.•Ensuring adherence to industry regulations and best practices.•Continuously improving processes to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs•Independently handle customer site visits for commissioning, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of field instrumentation.•Developing thorough planning and scheduling of activities to ensure efficient service execution.•Conducting remote and onsite support for customers facing technical issues.•Working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance service offerings.•Promoting ABB’s full range of service solutions, including digital services and remote monitoring.•Supporting regional and global service teams as needed.•Maintaining detailed records of service activities, ensuring timely service billing.•Actively contributing to growing ABB’s service business by identifying new opportunities and upselling services.
Qualifications for the roleDegree in Instrumentation Engineering or a related field. 5 plus years of experience in field instrumentation service.Strong knowledge of ABB’s Field Instrumentation product portfolio.Experience in service sales, with the ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaborate with multinational teams.Familiarity with digitalization and remote service solutions is an added advantage.
