Load & haul Product Support team has now a unique opportunity for a customer focused Service Engineer. The position is permanent, full-time, and based in our division headquarters in Turku, Finland.
About your role
As a Service Engineer, you will be working closely with end customer providing technical and application support for L&H equipment. In this role you have constant need to train yourself technically to be able to support all of our stakeholders. Product support is learning together as a team and more detailed trainings are caried out by R&D (research and Development) as well as our third-party suppliers whenever needed. Your daily tasks include various TIM (Technical Issue Management) cases helping troubleshoot various technical issues. also, you ensure efficient handling of customer TFM (technical feedback management) cases by understanding the end user needs and challenges.
Key Responsibilities
Work tightly together with internal stakeholders to provide high end product support to our customers.Travel to mine sites or workshops to support and troubleshoot activities regarding L&H equipment.Conduct product technical trainings at customers’ or Sandvik’s premises when needed.Participate to NPD and CPE projects as an aftermarket professional and provide views on functionality, usability, durability, and serviceability.Technical Skills
Preferably applicant would have good understanding of topics listed below. Level of understanding in these topics would be how to do troubleshooting to various systems, basic component knowledge, working principals as well as safe way of working.

We are looking for an energetic, cooperative person and with skills to show initiative and a proven record of get things done. You have a degree (e.g., Bachelor of Master of Science) from a relevant technical field or you have gained already versatile technical work experience. To be successful in the position, you are experienced in automation, electrics and Your experience/knowledge in hydraulics, mechanics is a big plus. We are in an international business, so you need to communicate fluently in English (both written and spoken). This role requires global travelling approximately from 5 to 14 weeks/year.
