Service Engineer

Main Tasks
1. Perform technical field service activities 1) Installation and commissioning of equipment 2) Troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance 3) Escalation to HQ for support 4) User training / customer training 5) Providing sales support when needed6) All necessary reporting as per company policy 2. Ensure customer satisfaction and efficient service support
3. Provide customer service / support with issue resolution; ensure open service issues are closed out in a timely manner
4. Provision of demo products maintenance to ensure excellent product performance in all demonstra-tions
5. Participation in service training (both internal and external trainings)
6. Report to Service supervisor / factory on product issues experienced such as standards of production, quality and safety of the product range
7. Liaison work involving spare parts ordering, shipment, installation and after sales service which inter-act between sales admin, logistics, customers and application specialists etc.
8. Provision of follow-up support to customers after equipment installation to ensure a smooth comple-tion of the contract
9. Provision of technical sales assistance in product configuration selection inclusive of software and hardware recommendations
10. To take initiative in updating one’s own product & technical knowledge by attending training pro-grams organized by the CompanyRequirements

Education
Bachelor degree and above, majored in Engineering of Electrical, Automation, Electronics, Mechanical, or Optics related field.
Experience
Minimum 3 years experience in Semiconductor equipment field service Prior experience in automation controlling or optics would be a plus Good manner of English in reading, writing and speaking
