Job Description:
Wärtsilä is seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team in Jakarta, Indonesia. As a Field Service Engineer, you will independently execute various field service activities, including overhauls, repairs, and troubleshooting. Your main responsibilities will include:
Main Responsibilities:
1. Independently execute field service activities such as overhauls, repairs, and troubleshooting.
2. Identify failures, make adjustments, conduct trial runs, and test complete installations according to instructions.
3. Check and adjust relevant systems (e.g., auxiliary, propulsion).
4. Provide internal and external work reports according to Wärtsilä standards.
5. Collect and organize time and expense reports, and inform administrative personnel as required.
6. Supervise tasks performed by Wärtsilä employees and subcontractors.
7. Perform pre-commissioning and start-ups of Wärtsilä engines.
8. Promote Wärtsilä products and services.
9. Perform OpExS procedures within the area of responsibility.
10. Fully utilize FS IM tools (FSM and all APPS).
Development Responsibilities:
1. Develop relationships with customers, identify new sales potentials, and create new opportunities.
2. Enhance self-knowledge through daily work activities and support.
Accountabilities:
- Completeness of the work performed.
- Lead time to perform work.
- Quality of the work performed, ensuring no rework.
- Timely and quality reporting (2 days and weekly daily reports).
- Accurate and informative reporting.
Job Specification:
- Indonesian nationality only.
- Willingness to travel throughout Indonesia and overseas.
- Minimum Diploma Degree in Engineering.
- Understanding of Wärtsilä engines is an advantage.
- Approximately 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
