Join Fluke Corporation as a Service Engineer, where your responsibilities revolve around the creation, implementation, and upkeep of methods for servicing new and customer-owned products, including manufacturing and service operation sequences, specifications, and equipment requirements. Be a part of new product introductions and support released product plans. Key performance measurements include safety, quality, cost, and efficiency among others.
Responsibilities:
Perform service engineering assignments associated with the integrity of product design to ensure quality and cost-effective service. Advise on existing capabilities, equipment, facilities, and standard practices for product or service development. Coordinate with support groups to develop capabilities and capacities in line with new workflows. Ensure service efficiency while meeting quality, cost, operating specifications, and standards. Apply the principles of the Fortive Business System FBS Tools for process improvement. Plan, define, and implement new systems and processes; provide necessary training for new product introductions. Lead and implement projects of varying complexity and scope. Influence new designs by informing design engineering about existing production capabilities, facilities, standard practices.Job Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Engineering Technology, Process Engineering, or Electronic Engineering from an ABET certified university OR equivalent work experience. Minimum of 3 years related experience. Proficiency in Root Cause Analysis using various Problem-Solving methodologies. Understanding of Continuous Improvement methodologies (e.g., Kaizen), preferably FBS Intro to FBS Leadership experience within a team, project, or job Ability to evaluate data accurately, exercise judgment, and make clear decisions. Proven capacity for building productive internal/external working relationships. Understanding and ability to interpret mechanical drawings. Experience with SolidWorks and/or Pro/Engineer Knowledge in Excel Visual Basic for Applications Ability to manage high pressure situations, prioritize workload, and understand the impact of tasks. Aptitude for operating within a metric/results-oriented environment. Strong interpersonal and technical communication skills hands-on experience with service and manufacturing processes, preferred. Ability to respond to questions from management, operators, engineers, and support staff. Understanding of Lean Manufacturing components such as 5S, SW, VRK, TPI, etc.Reporting:

Everett, WA: The salary range for this position is $70,495- $130,985
This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.
Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location.
