Service Desk Tier 2 Technician

Responsibilities:

Remotely or onsite support, troubleshoot, administer, and/or deploy workstations, servers, storage, email, cloud, and network-related equipment and software    

Advise clients using industry best-practices and recommend opportunities for continuous improvement     

Maintain client security standards and confidentiality of information   

Clearly document support issues, resolution steps, and newly deployed equipment and/or services within RSM’s ticketing system   

Effectively communicate with clients via phone, email, and in-person   

Adaptability to changing processes and technology   

 

Required Qualifications:

Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or IT related concentration.   

A passion for technology and a desire to learn    

A minimum 3.0 GPA  

Excellent customer service skills   

Focused on attention to detail   

Ability to travel up to 25%    

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with firewalls, such as Cisco, SonicWALL and Meraki   

Experience with Windows Servers, Office 365, Azure AD Administration, SharePoint and Teams Administration.    

Experience with remote solutions
