Service Desk Technician
Job Title: Service Desk Technician Location: On-site – Louisville, KY Experience Level: Entry Level Overview: Join a dynamic and growing organization as a Service Desk Technician, where you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional support and ensuring operational integrity across technical systems. This is a hands-on opportunity to build foundational IT experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities: + Provide professional, accurate, and efficient support via incoming calls, assisting with hardware troubleshooting and service desk inquiries. + Serve as a backup operator to maintain system integrity and continuity. + Monitor system alerts, error logs, and communication networks, escalating issues according to established protocols. + Perform data entry and validate scheduling system accuracy. + Complete daily operational checklists with precision and timeliness. + Participate as a team member on assigned projects. + Conduct User Acceptance Testing for new software releases. + Execute system configuration requests accurately and efficiently. + Identify and troubleshoot processing errors, escalating when necessary. + Take on additional duties as assigned to support team and business needs. Requirements & Skills: + Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to remain calm under pressure. + Detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities. + Technical aptitude, including familiarity with basic computer functions and office technology. + Willingness to work during peak operational periods, including high-attendance event days. + Open to learning new tasks and expanding skill sets. Preferred Qualifications: + Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field. + Prior experience in help desk, service desk, or customer support roles. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.75/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
