**THE ROLE** **:**
The **Senior Service Center Technician** plays a key role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality operation of service center activities. This position is responsible for initiating and performing a wide range of service tasks, including system troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and diesel-powered equipment—both Company and Customer-owned. The technician conducts thorough preventative maintenance, manages parts inventory, and proactively identifies and addresses potential safety hazards. This role may also involve direct interaction with customers, requiring strong communication and problem-solving skills.

**QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent
+ 2 to 5 years of technical work experience in electrical, mechanical, diesel, fusion, or related field
+ Ability to obtain all required customer clearances (TWIC, DISA, etc.)
+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also mentoring and providing training to entry-level technicians.
+ Strong technical aptitude with a solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and/or diesel systems.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and communication purposes.
+ Proven experience in a customer-facing role, with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
+ Demonstrated critical thinking and advanced troubleshooting skills, especially in dynamic or high-pressure situations.
+ Capable of synthesizing complex technical information and conveying it clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
+ Leverages customer interactions to derive actionable insights and develop innovative solutions to moderately complex problems.

Salary range:
$46,200.00 - $73,900.00
