Eurofins Environment Testing Southwest is seeking a Service Center Technician to join our new Service Center in West Valley City, Utah.
Client services – Field Services Center Manager
Accountable for coordinating and managing the day-to-day activities of our Field Services Center through all phases of client services.Coordinates courier servicesProvides supporting documentation to clients as needed (contact list, bottle table with preservation, etc.)Communicates any issues to clients or respective Eurofins teams on an ongoing basis. Maintain vehicle maintenanceCommunicates effectively with couriers/dispatch and Operations lead.Performs all duties as outlined in Standard Operating procedures for: Sample Receiving, Courier ServicesReceive and sign the Chain of Custody; verifies all samples received, not broken and accounted for.Ensures COC has been prepared in accordance to procedures.Communicates effectively with client teams.Label samples on an as needed basis.Maintain and re-stock supplies on hand for client requestsCourier Services responsibilities.
Perform all duties as outlined in the Standard Operating Procedure for CouriersPick up and deliver samples, bottle orders and report to the laboratory for sign-in and analysisCount the number of samples when receiving them from clients to make sure that the Chain of Custody and samples matchVerify that samples are not broken or damagedReceive and sign the Chain of CustodyEnsure that client signs, dates, and records time on the Chain of Custody when releasing samplesTransport samples on ice from client site to the lab, or from our lab to a sub- contracted laboratoryUnload samples and inspect for damage or violated hold times to maintain sample integrityInteract with Project Managers and clients appropriately and professionallyFollow directions or use maps to locate client offices/sites as specified in the courier request formCommunicate effectively with the courier coordinator about the courier scheduleRecord in the courier log book the time that courier arrives to the site and time leaving from the site for all the pickups and deliveriesMaintain records for the vehicle maintenance and driving miles; turn it in at the end of each monthRestock supplies when received so supplies are available to employees when neededVerify the validity and completeness of all bottle orders being deliveredThis verification is done prior to leaving for deliveryPerform duties in accordance with Section 14 of the Transportation and Fleet Safety of the Corporate Safety ManualComply with driver policiesMaintain the shipping/receiving area to ensure a safe work environmentPrepare outgoing shipments of bottle kits and coolers for pick-upPerform on-site sampling events as neededMaintain delivery truck to keep in proper working orderOther duties may be required, as needed.

Compensation Range: Starting at $18- $22 an hour depending on experience and is eligible for overtime pay.
