ChristianaCare is looking for a full-time Service Assistant III to replenish par level areas with supplies. Accurately resupply areas with needed stock orders in a manner that meets department standards for safety, security, and productivity.
Performs general physical activities in Emergency Department; loading, unloading, sorting and moving products and materials manually to effectively stock patient rooms
Duties and Responsibilities:Stock patient rooms with supplies obtained from clean rooms.Restocks par level areas.Restock carts in the assigned areas.Maintains and arranges items on shelves for maximum efficiency.Restock Trauma Bay and Paramedic Room.Restock linens in patient rooms and refill linen carts.Communicates stock outs, unit of measure discrepancies, and order problems to the Manager of Distribution.Performs assigned work safely, adhering to established departmental safety rules and practices.Reports to supervisor, in a timely manner, any unsafe activities, conditions, hazards, or safety violations that may cause injury to oneself, other employees, patients and visitors.Performs expiration date checks and keeps assigned shelf locations neat and orderly.Takes initiative to assist patient care staff with identification of supply needs and available alternative when requested.Be available to help train other care givers as needed.Demonstrates compliance with Christiana Care departmental policies and procedures including, but not limited to, safety, infection control, attendance, and dress code.Performs other related duties as assigned when needed by management.Hours: Day Shift 6:30am - 3:pm - Working every 3rd weekend, and rotating holidays
