Service Administrator
**DESCRIPTION** **Job Summary:** Serves as first point of contact with customer to promote quality customer service and assist with increasing business within the branch location **Key Responsibilities:** Serves as the first point of contact with customers either on the phone or at the branch, developing positive relationships with key customers. Assesses customers needs and gathers pertinent information Creates basic work orders in appropriate systems Provides some status updates to customers, as requested We are looking for a talented onsite Service Administrator to join our team specializing in service for our branch in Fresno, California. In this onsite role, you will make an impact in the following ways: + Serve as the primary point of contact with customers by phone, email, and face-to-face interactions at the branch, developing positive relationships with key customers. + Identify customer’s needs, gathers pertinent information, provide quotes, develop claims, prepare repair plans and provide status updates to customers on repair work. + Create complex work orders including diagnostic plans, quotes and repair plans by determining the length of repair based on parts and labor availability; review plan with the Service Supervisor/Team Lead prior to customer contact. + Open and review work orders to ensure accuracy for invoicing and warranty, explain charges to Customers to resolve any concerns and close work orders once complete. + Work with Service Supervisor and/or Team Lead to schedule job assignments, monitor key performance metrics for the Workshop, including labor productivity and Customer satisfaction. **RESPONSIBILITIES** To be successful in this onsite role you will need the following: + Requires significant and/or in-depth knowledge obtained through specialized training. + Knowledge of Diesel and/or Natural Gas Engines required. Prior experience in a shop service environment, repair and warranty related field preferred. + Excellent customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate in a positive and professional manner. + Must have excellent computer skills using multiple computer monitors and multiple software platforms, knowledge of Cummins QSOL preferred. + Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. + Please note, this position is 100% onsite at our Branch in Fresno, California. **QUALIFICATIONS** Work schedule Monday through Friday 7am to 5pm. Assist parts department with field service work orders as needed. Assist Supervisor in inputting payroll when needed. Finalizing work orders and providing invoices to customers. **Education, Licenses, Certifications:** High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. **Experience:** Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience. **Compensation and Benefits** Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range.
