JOB DESCRIPTION

The FOX Studio Lot is looking for a Server to join their team in Los Angeles, CA!

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Hold strictly to current health & safety standards set in place by the LA Department of HealthWork with the team to maintain a positive dining experience for the guestsMenu knowledge: Is expected to know the method of preparation, primary ingredients, portion sizes, serving temperatures, quality standards, appearance, texture, taste, garnish, and presentation for all menu items and daily specialsKnow table numbers, seat positions, and station numbersEnsure that assigned tables are clean, polished, and correctly set up with proper china, glassware, silver, and linenContinually clean and maintain tables and stations in a neat and orderly mannerTake food and beverage orders of guests in the prescribed manner, ensuring all requests are understood, entering the orders in the POS system accurately, and communicating the orders appropriately to the back of the house, in a timely mannerMaintain regular check-backs with the guests to ensure that guests’ needs and concerns are immediately addressedMaintain proper etiquette for table serviceImmediately relay guest and/or staff accidents, complaints, comments, or compliments to the manager on dutyComplete all assigned side work duties before, during, and after shiftWork special events as necessaryOther duties, as assigned

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

Previous relevant experience as a server in a formal dining roomStrong customer service backgroundTeam player with a positive attitudeGood communication skillsMaintain good grooming and proper hygieneAble to lift and carry heavy objects, including food traysAble to stand for periods of up to 4 hours and bend and stoop on occasion

POS System ExperienceBartending and/ or Catering experience

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $23.50 per hour. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
