What will you do?Greet and attend to guests’ needs, provide menus and communicate restaurant specials, answer menu questions, and collect food and beverage ordersServe alcoholic beverages responsibly, adhering to all alcohol service policies and proceduresAccurately enter orders into the point-of-sale system and process payments, as well as prepare and deliver checks to guestsCollaborate with other restaurant servers, kitchen, and bar staffPerform opening, closing, cleaning, and side work duties, as assigned,and ensure all equipment and workspaces are clean, sanitized, organized, and functioning
More about youExperience in cash handling and credit card processingBeneficial if you have one year’s experience as a server in a high-volume environment and experience with a point-of-sale system in a service or hospitality environmentNo high school diploma or GED required
Physical requirementsMust be able to lift 35 lbs, as well as stand, walk, and bend for long periods, which may include walking up stairsVisual awareness and hearing sufficient to take orders and prepare checks
