Separation and Core HR - HRSS
**Job Summary** The Global Process Owner (GPO) – HR Shared Services will be responsible for leading the end-to-end design, governance, and optimization of key **Separation and Core HR processes, specifically focusing on Voluntary & Involuntary Separations, Core HR** (organization and employee data management & data changes, Contracts & Records/Document Management **in Oracle HCM)** , and Contracts & Records/Document Management. The GPO will play a strategic role have global coverage and act as a subject matter expert in reviewing existing processes, identifying areas for improvement, designing future-state models, supporting shared service transitions, and establishing global process standards and governance frameworks. This role will collaborate closely with HR, Technology, Knowledge Management, and Continuous Improvement teams to drive operational excellence and enhance employee experience. **Responsibilities** **Process Design, Documentation & Governance** + Define L1–L4 HR process taxonomy and map process activities and tasks (L4–L5 level). + Design and implement best-in-class, standardized processes across Separation, Core HR, and Document Management. + Develop comprehensive process documentation including workflows, SOPs, process maps, analytics, and business cases. + Partner with the Knowledge Management team to create HR knowledge articles that promote understanding and adoption of new processes. + Act as the primary process owner, ensuring changes are not made without engagement and approval. + Provide HR process design and support for shared service migrations. + Track and ensure user compliance with defined processes globally. + Support HR technology implementations/enhancements that impact HR processes. + Establish and maintain change control governance across all relevant HR processes. **Process Analysis & Metrics** + Conduct thorough process analysis, collecting data on activity volume, time, cycle duration, FTE ratios, and resource usage. + Collaborate with Shared Services to establish and monitor SLAs and KPIs. **Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement** + Partner with Continuous Improvement (CI) teams to: + Build a pipeline of optimization opportunities focused on efficiency, user experience, and cost reduction. + Conduct root cause analyses to identify and resolve process challenges. + Lead and execute process optimization projects, including automation and RPA initiatives. + Quantify cost/value of improvements and develop business cases to support funding initiative **Skills** + Strong business acumen and understanding of the cross-functional impact of process changes. + Strategic thinker with a service delivery mindset and operational focus. + Strong facilitation and stakeholder management abilities. + Confident in delivering presentations to diverse audiences. + Skilled at managing multiple priorities and competing initiatives. + Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. + Self-directed and capable of working independently under tight deadlines. **Qualification** + Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; graduate degree preferred. + 4–6 years of experience in HR consulting or shared services operations with proven expertise in separation processes, core HR lifecycle, and document management. + Experience in global HR transformation and process design, preferably with Oracle HCM. + Prior experience as a GPO or similar leadership role is advantageous. + Strong process knowledge and mapping experience using tools like Microsoft Visio. + Demonstrated expertise in project/program management. + Exposure to Lean/Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement methodologies. + Advanced Excel and data analytics skills.
