This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Sr. Principal System Software Analyst to join our Sentinel Atlassian team. The role can be located in Roy, Utah or Huntsville, AL. This role is pivotal in supporting and managing Jira, Confluence, and Crowd systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a proven track record in system software analysis and administration, particularly within the Atlassian suite of tools.
Basic Qualifications:
8 Years with Bachelors in relevant field of study; 6 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree.Active DoD Secret clearance with a reinvestigation date occurring in the last 6 years. US Citizenship and ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP).In-depth knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and Crowd administration and customization.Experience developing custom capabilities within the Atlassian toolset (Jira, Confluence, and Crowd)Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, JavaScript) for developing custom workflows and automation within Jira.Strong understanding of integration between Atlassian tools and other systems.Proficiency in SQL for database interactions, and familiarity with REST APIs for system integrations.Proficiency with JQL (Jira Query Language) for building advanced queries inside Jira.Hands-on experience with managing large-scale Jira and Confluence instances, including performance tuning and scaling.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.Proven project management skills to handle multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively.Demonstrated ability to train, mentor, and lead a technical team.Atlassian Certified - Jira Administration for Data Center Ability to obtain IAT Level II certification, such as Security+.Preferred Qualifications:

Primary Level Salary Range: $118,600.00 - $196,700.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
