Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal or Senior Principal Test Conductor. This position will be located in Colorado Springs, Colorado and will support the Sentinel program.
What You’ll Get To Do:
Support lab operations build-up / integration of hardware and software units, enforcement of lab operations processes, and support hardware / software testing activities.Responsible for coordinating lab scheduling, development, and integration. Familiarity with engineering drawings, network diagrams and schematics, and various test equipment is essential and required for this position.Support anomaly investigations / troubleshooting as well as implement best practices and demonstrates good hardware configuration management and tool accountability.Alert management to recurring challenges and patterns of challenges.As a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including:

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with five (5) years of experience, or a Master's with six (3) years of experience, or a PhD with four (1) years of experience. An additional four (4) years of experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needOne (1) year of experience operating in an Agile environment using any of the Atlassian software tool sets (JIRA, Confluence)Three (3) years of experience with HW or SW integration in a lab / test environmentThree (3) years of experience with Linux operating systems or networkingThree (3) years of experience with Cisco routers or switchesKnowledge of software/systems lifecycles Ability to install software packagesFamiliarity with COTS network management and configuration systemsIt Would Be Nice To Have These Qualifications:
Ability to troubleshoot system using built in OS functionality and system logsPerform OS tuning, understand networking, perform user management, perform security hardening, and review OS logs as needed and perform system backupsFour (4) years of experience with scripting, particularly in shell scripting. Any experience with SH and CSH variants, Python, or PowerShell would be helpfulFour (4) years of experience with the administration and operations of lab or test environmentsFour (4) years of experience with vSphere or VMware Cloud FoundationFour (4) years of experience with operation, development, or testing of RTOSsFour (4) years of experience with HW or SW integration in a lab / test environmentFour (4) years of experience with Linux operating systems or networkingFour (4) years of experience with Cisco routers or switchesComputer system performance analysisWould like to see one or more current CompTIA certifications for an IAT Level II (GSEC, Security+ or SSCP) or higher to satisfy DOD 8570-1M requirement#Sentinelintandtest
Primary Level Salary Range: $91,200.00 - $136,800.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $113,500.00 - $170,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
