Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Sensor Test Engineer to work for one of the largest social networking companies in the world. This individual will work within the Reality Labs organization which brings people around the world together through next generation Augmented, Mixed, and Virtual Reality. This individual will be responsible for smart glass sensor bring-up/ characterization/ validation. This engineer will develop test systems to enable rapid evaluation and testing of sensor sub-systems. Job Responsibilities: Characterize and validate touch, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, Inertial measurement unit for smart wearables. Skills and Requirements Experience with touch sensing technologies (self-capacitance, mutual capacitance). Proficiency in sensor layout, electrode design, and noise mitigation. Understanding of accelerometers, gyroscopes, or magnetometers (IMU) Familiarity with touch controller ICs and firmware tuning.
