Senior Wires Support Engineer

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Wires Support Engineer in Technology as part of Commercial Corporate & Investment Bank Technology (CCIBT) engineering and transformation office.  Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com.

The position will support Money Transfer System applications (Domestic and International). As a part of the support, the team member is expected to provide day to day support / operational activities related to EMTS and GMTS. This includes alert handling, taking care of the incidents, handling start of day / end of day activities, Service requests, Changes and Problem management.


In this role, you will:

Lead or participate in managing all installed systems and infrastructure within the Systems Operations functional areaContribute in increasing system efficiencies and lowering the human intervention time on related tasksReview and analyze moderately complex operational support systems, application software, and system management tools to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availabilityWork with vendors and other technical personnel for problem resolutionLead team to meet technical deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of technical process controls or standardsCollaborate with vendors and other technical personnel to resolve technical issues and achieve highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability


Required Qualifications:

4+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

1+ years of application support experience

Desired Qualifications:

Wire processing experienceAutomation and Scripting experience with Shell and/or PythonACI knowledgeExperience in automation using any of scripting (shell/Perl/Python).Experience in IBM MQ Series, Experience in ITIL processes (Change, Incident and Problem Management) for Application Support

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$41.83 - $80.77
