The candidate is responsible for provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software related to a Windows infrastructure for classified programs. Duties include, but are not limited to, server management (software and hardware); storage management (logical and physical); cross platform authentication and access management; data backup and restoration; software and license configuration; and workstation support. **What You Will Do:** + Administer and maintain operational support for software applications and hardware platforms: Analyze, test, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues + Provide technical assistance to users and excellent customer care + Apply hardening security settings + Active Directory Object Management (i.e. User, computer, groups) + Manage NTFS and share permissions + Identify, analyze and remediate technical challenges + Administer backups, diagnose and remediate backup errors + Partner with application/project/security/program teams and third-party vendors to plan, design, and implement new information technology infrastructure + Manage client agents for server monitoring as well as agents for server management + Create and maintain technical and process documentation **Qualifications You Must Have:** + Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field. + The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. + 2+ years of experience supporting Microsoft Windows desktops (e.g. Windows 10 and Windows 11) + Experience deploying Windows workstations and migrating end-user data **Qualifications We Prefer:** + Active Secret security clearance preferred. + Experience with cloning techniques + Experience with operating system concepts and implementations + Microsoft Windows Active Directory Services administration and support (e.g. user and computer objects administration, Group Policy) + Experience with network services as related to Microsoft Windows environment (e.g. DC, DNS, DHCP, etc) + Experience with supporting desktop / workstation hardware and software + Experience with an IT incident/service request system + Bitlocker experience + Windows command line and related utilities + Experience with server, tape library, and storage platforms + Practical knowledge of server virtualization (e.g. ESXi) platforms + Automation via scripting + Experience with the following Microsoft technologies: + MDT/MECM and WSUS + Experience with engineering applications such as MatLab, Green Hills Software, Doors, and Atlassian Suite + CompTIA Security+ certification or other industry-recognized certifications relevant to a Windows System Administrator **What We Offer:** Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
