Key Responsibilities:
As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and
supporting a diverse IT infrastructure environment, including Windows Server, VMware,
Azure cloud, and related technologies. Your core duties will include:
Windows Server Administration
• Administer and maintain Windows Server environments.
• Manage Active Directory: including user and group provisioning, Group Policy
Objects (GPO), replication, and domain services.
• Configure and troubleshoot DNS and DHCP services.
• Manage and optimize IIS for website deployment and performance tuning.
Virtualization – VMware Infrastructure
• Install, configure, and optimize VMware ESXi hosts, vCenter, and related
components.
• Perform VM snapshotting, cloning, resource management, and performance
monitoring.
• Troubleshoot VM issues and ensure high availability and reliability of services.
Cloud – Microsoft Azure (Basic to Intermediate)
• Provision and manage Azure VMs, storage accounts, and virtual networks.
• Support hybrid infrastructure integration and ensure seamless on-prem to Azure
connectivity.
• Assist in managing Azure Backup, Monitoring, and Resource Groups.
Other Infrastructure Responsibilities
• Provide basic administration and support for Linux systems (Ubuntu, RHEL,
CentOS) – preferred.
• Monitor and manage infrastructure using tools such as SolarWinds or similar.
• Handle SSL certificate lifecycle: installation, renewal, and management across
web and app servers.
• Investigate and resolve infrastructure incidents; perform root cause analysis and
implement solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute system upgrades,
patches, and new deployments.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of systems, processes, and configurations.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Proven expertise in Windows Server administration (AD, DNS, DHCP, IIS).
• Strong hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services and infrastructure.
• Basic understanding of Linux environments (Ubuntu, RHEL, or CentOS) –
preferred.
• Familiarity with monitoring and ing tools, such as SolarWinds.
• Experience with SSL certificate management.
• Exposure to NetScaler (Citrix ADC) or other load balancing technologies –
preferred.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills across systems and network layers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment
