By proactively addressing safety operations, and quality standards, you'll empower our teams and partners to provide a safe working environment and a culture of safety first.

As a Senior WHS Specialist you'll implement and oversee safety protocols while supporting key stakeholders across operations, transportation, and third-party providers. You'll work closely with regional teams to ensure safety standards are consistently met, managing improvement projects and reducing risk across the network. Your role will be crucial in developing and maintaining a culture of safety that spans our entire network, positively impacting the well-being of our employees, partners, and service providers.

Key job responsibilities
- Monitor and improve yard and dock safety performance across regional locations
- Analyze safety metrics and incident trends to guide resource allocation and prioritize improvement efforts.
- Conduct regional audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations, focusing on yard operations and dock safety standards.
- Spearhead cross-functional projects to resolve systemic safety issues, collaborating with various stakeholders
- Provide expert guidance on yard and dock safety, supporting continuous improvement and new site launches
- Standardize safety protocols for yard operations and dock operations across the network
- Drive a culture of safety through engagement with local leadership and implementation of behavioral change initiatives
- Support the development of training materials and programs to enhance yard and dock safety awareness
- Investigate incidents, perform root cause analyses, and implement preventive measures
- Stay current with industry best practices, recommending and implementing innovative safety solutions
