This is a deliverable based role with annual performance reviews and autonomy to deliver agreed outcomes flexibly across hours and sites (day and night).

What you will be doing

Implement and manage Safety Management Plans across the project Risk management (compliance, standards, quality, controls) and lead risk assessments and maintain risk registers Ensure compliance with SHEQ policies, procedures and legislative requirements Conduct safety investigations and manage relationships with regulators Drive continuous improvement through monitoring and reporting of SHEQ performance Provide sustainability leadership and ensure adequate resources for safety objectives Support team training, inductions and SHEQ awareness initiatives

Required Skills and Experience
Experience in road / tunnel network environments will see you succeed in this role or solid experience with construction or infrastructure projects.

Cert IV in WHS, Environment or Quality (or equivalent) ICAM incident investigation training Lead Auditor qualifications Strong understanding of SHEQ legislation, ISO standards and regulatory requirements Proven ability to mange safety audit programs and drive compliance Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder engagement skills White card and current C class driver’s licence
