What you will do:

The Senior Wholesale Credit Risk Oversight Manager will provide effective challenge of wholesale credit risk (WCR) control activities performed by the First Line of Defense and by Second Line of Defence risk takers. He / She will be in charge of the performance of WCR back-testing activities and will be actively involved in all WCR risk stewardship activities

In this role you will:

The performance of back-testing activities relevant to the Early Warning Indicators (EWI), Watch Worry Monitor (WWM), Collateral Valuation and ECL in Stage 3 controlsThe review/ approval of WCR’s Risk Control Assessments (RCA’s) and Risk MapThe continuous Review Challenge (RAC) of registered FLOD SLOD control and control monitoring activities The identification of FLOD SLOD controls that should be created and registered within HSBC’s control oversight tool (known as HELIOS). The continuous tracking monitoring of issues/ incidents that are likely to detail the lack of efficiency of specific FLOD SLOD controlsThe active participation in the development of wholesale credit risk assurance activitie
