Ever wondered how compensation for the entire company is managed across the globe and kept fair at the same time? We are the team responsible for it.
The Engineering Compensation team is a full stack web team that uses a variety of technologies: Angular, React, C#, Python, JS/TS, NodeJS, PostgreSQL to build data feeds, data provider services and intuitive user interfaces on the web. We own the compensation allocation and compensation distribution suite of products. We routinely collaborate with the product team and on some occasions work directly with senior executives and other stakeholders on mission critical projects.
Our team is seeking a software engineer who will help us in our mission of building a set of products that together enable fair and efficient management of all aspects of employee compensation. The quality and reliability of our products are critical to the success of our employees and therefore the entire organization.
We’ll trust you to:
- Take ownership of all aspects of the software development process
- Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, & Stakeholders to solve problems, design solutions, build new features & improve existing capabilities
- Support complex architecture and collaborate across other engineering teams to continuously improve the system
- Treat data and service security as a first class priority
You’ll need to have:
- 4+ years of experience working with web technologies e.g. React and Angular while being comfortable working on the full stack
- A Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, similar field of study or equivalent work experience
- Desire to develop expertise in building out REST APIs and experience with relational databases and ORMs
- Understanding of architectural principles, frameworks, and tools that promote reusability and extensibility
- Good communication skills to work with other teams and explain technical problems to non-technical stakeholders
- Curious, open-minded, keeps up with emerging technology and has a willingness to contribute ideas
We’d love to see:
- Experience working with C#
- Experience partnering with senior stakeholders
Salary Range = 160000 - 240000 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
