The Role
The Warranty Operations organization has responsibility for Global Warranty Operations and the GM Labor Information Database management. This position includes the application of warranties, interaction with multiple groups inside GM including the Labor Time Group, Finance, Safety, Audit, the Dealer Business Center and others. It is the center of warranty application for GM warranty claims.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
Problem solve and investigate dealer and GM Internal warranty claim issues and suggest ways to better the system.
Participate in the development and execution of requirements and test cases dealing with projects associated with Global Warranty Management
Project Manage large scale initiatives that may cross many functions, departments and our entire dealer partner network.
Bring a fresh approach and creative ideas for the future strategy of Warranty Cost reduction and ease of claim payment for Dealers.
Lead for Overseas Distribution Warranty Administration
Lead for Electronic Key Code Application Maintenance
ILM Coordinator
Maintain Master Data

Team Player, with excellent organization and communication skills
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
3 years relevant work experience
Project Management experience
Engineering or Automotive based degree or equivalent
Strong interpersonal skills involving ability to work effectively cross-functionally and cross-culturally
Ability to function with limited direction, or in autonomous situations

Continuous improvement/OpEx background
PMP certified
Strong knowledge of GM Labor Information Database and Global Warranty Management
