We are hiring immediately for an experienced warehouse worker as a Senior Warehouse Associate - ICQC at our distribution facility. Your experience and knowledge of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, wire cutting, and light assembly shows how it impacts others. We are Wesco. Shift: Monday - Friday; 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

A Day in The Life of a Senior Warehouse Associate

As a Senior Associate in Operations, you will be responsible for performing assigned warehouse tasks including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, as well as housekeeping of other assigned areas.  You may also be responsible for counter sales, cycle counting and related quality assurance activities.  With a focus on quality, you will perform quality assurance inspections to ensure shipments are accurate and meet the requirements of customer orders. 

Complete log sheets and handle inbound shipments  Perform quality inspections, log discrepancies and take appropriate steps to correct errors  Verify supplier returns and enter order receipts  Relocate and consolidate material  Prepare and assemble packing lists  Pack, label, wrap, and load outbound trucks

Education & Experience

High school degree or equivalent required 2 years of warehouse or distribution experience preferred Previous experience in an inventory/quality control position preferred 

Skills & Requirements

Basic problem-solving skills Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to be on your feet for extended periods Basic computer skills preferred Willingness to operate warehouse equipment, including power equipment
