Job Responsibilities:

Description

The Tool Developer is responsible for tool development for functional performance testing of ADAS / autonomous driving functions. Tool developer coordinate with lead developer to understand tooling architecture and specification. The candidate should have strong background in developing advanced visualization tools using Open3D, processing LiDAR, RADAR, and camera image data, and deploying robust web applications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain 3D visualization tools using Open3D, focusing on pointcloud, Radar and camera image integration.Implement data processing techniques for LiDAR and camera datasets, ensuring accurate and efficient visualization.Design and integrate DynamoDB databases for storing, querying, and managing datasets.Develop a responsive web application that hosts the visualization tool, providing an intuitive user interface for end-users.Optimize the tool's performance, ensuring smooth visualization and efficient database queries.Deploy the web application on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and ensure it is scalable, secure, and reliable.Daily alignment with the Lead Engineer.Based on function complexity able to support multiple projects and/or functions.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Required Experience and special skills:

> 3 years of Working knowledge in ADAS series project(s).Professional working experience (>3 years of experience) as software development engineering in the domains of computer vision, 3D pointcloud visualization and cloud architecture.Advance knowledge Python programming and Open 3d visualization tool. AI, machine learning, deep learning, and data mining is desire.Strong understanding of LiDAR and camera data formats, processing techniques, and visualization.ADAS functions understanding is desired.Working knowledge of AWS (amazon web service).Algorithm development experience in ADAS / autonomous driving is a big plus.  ISTQB CTFL certificate.Working knowledge of product development and product testing engineering practices in automotive field.

Required Education:

Bachelor/ Master’s / diploma degree in computer science, physics, mechatronics, automotive, statistics, mathematics or equivalent.

Required Computer Skills

Programming Language: Python, C++ (object Oriented Programming), ROS, RviZ.Programming Libraries: Pandas, Numpy, PySpark, Polars, Boto3, WebGL or Three.js, Basic Understanding of Flask, Django (backend) & Front end.DynamoDB (Advance), S3 storage (basic) ECS solution (basic), EC2 (Basic).Confluence & Jira.

Language Knowledge

Proficiency in English is must (speaking & writing).German language is a plus.

Methodological Knowledge

Working knowledge in planned and structured approach.Working knowledge of problem-solving techniques.Working knowledge of PTC.

Personal Requirements

Able to work in a dynamic, fast paced team environment.Able to work independently with supervision.Able to work effectively in a global environment.Travel (domestic) may require.
