This role requires a visionary leader with deep expertise in energy strategy, decarbonization, and climate change initiatives related to energy infrastructure. You will analyze market trends, policy impacts, and technological developments to craft innovative, actionable strategies for our clients in a rapidly evolving energy landscape. **Key Responsibilities** + Lead Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive energy strategies for domestic US clients, with engagement in international collaboration efforts as needed + Policy Monitoring: Monitor and interpret U.S. federal and state energy policies, including shifts from administrations, budget allocations, and regulatory movements affecting renewables & thermal generation, nuclear, and LNG markets + Thought Leadership: Provide thought leadership on the implications of reduced renewable funding, increased fossil fuel production, and nuclear energy focus for energy transition pathways + Client Advisory: Advise clients on risks and opportunities related to policy changes, investments, and emerging energy issues, including helping shape business cases and position statements + Business Model Analysis: Analyze and understand energy asset business models, enabling clients to make informed investment decisions and develop robust business cases + Implementation Plans: Translate strategic assessments and recommendations from leading consulting firms into actionable implementation plans + Cross-Business Collaboration: Facilitate cross-business line collaboration to develop integrated strategies that balance sustainability, economic, and geopolitical considerations + Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team of energy strategists and consultants + Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders at industry events, policy forums, and client forums, reinforcing the firm's leadership in energy strategy + Business Development: Curate a portfolio of new and existing clients by leveraging industry connections and conducting targeted outreach.
