**Overview**
The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Global Operations is a strategic and operational leader responsible for overseeing and optimizing the agency’s global operational infrastructure. This individual will be responsible for driving operational excellence across all markets, ensuring alignment with business objectives, client expectations, and industry best practices. The SVP will lead cross-functional teams, streamline processes, and foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
In addition to overseeing end-to-end financial management for the US market, this individual will also be responsible for standardizing process and product globally across all areas of the client’s business, while protecting for local market nuances, and ensuring a seamless connection between the US and local markets outside the US.
**Responsibilities**
+ Work alongside Client Leadership, Planning, Investment, Finance, and Invoice Reconciliation teams to execute the end-to-end financial management process inclusive of budget authorization, buy entry, client billing, supplier invoice reconciliation and payment, financial reporting, staff utilization analysis, and compliance with the client’s MSA/SOW as well as internal/external audit requirements.
+ While this work is managed by local markets outside the US, the Global Operations SVP is responsible for understanding how these processes are executed locally, ensuring local market adherence to global best practices, and engaging with local markets when needed to resolve issues and optimize the process through automation opportunities and technology-driven solutions.
+ Partner with Spark Finance and Client Finance/Procurement teams to deliver financial reporting and tracking (e.g. monthly analysis of planned vs. actual spend, etc.) including global roll-ups of spend/delivery data as needed.
+ Manage the tools, systems, and processes that enable best-in-class, financial management and executional best practices, including supporting the cross-functional team with technical support and training.
+ Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and Practice teams, facilitating close collaboration among the Planning, Investment, Analytics, and Ad Operations functions that manage the day-to-day client business.
+ This collaboration is particularly important as the Global Operations SVP will be responsible for coordinating across Practice teams to drive global consistency and centralization of aspects of the media execution process (e.g. harmonizing the client’s tech stack).
+ Build and develop relationships with key client stakeholders, particularly those in Finance and Procurement roles to ensure Spark is delivering expectations and championing continuous improvement in financial operations.
+ The Global Operations SVP will also oversee the Operations team globally (e.g. setting priorities, balancing workload among team members, performance management/career pathing, etc.)
**Qualifications**
+ The candidate must have 12+ years of related experience including working with internal teams and external clients in budget management and billing, managing global teams and complex operational ecosystems, and directly managing others.
+ Must have a firm grasp of the end-to-end planning/buying and cash flow processes and how various agency and client functions work together within those processes.
+ Exceptional communication skills -- able to write clearly, speak professionally, and convey complex processes in a digestible way to both internal and external teams.
+ Extreme attention to detail and highly organized with a relentless focus on accuracy.
+ Strong client management/consultative experience both presenting and resolving issues.
+ Self-directed critical thinker and proactive problem-solver – takes the initiative and offers creative solutions to problems.
+ Strong leadership qualities with ability to both delegate when appropriate but also be “hands on” when the situation calls for it. A manager that is eager to mentor and share knowledge by teaching and improving team’s skills.
+ Confident, collaborative, outgoing, resourceful, and able to operate at a fast pace and make quick decisions, even with imperfect information.
+ Strong project management and time management skills, including proven history of meeting overlapping deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
+ Global mindset with cultural fluency and sensitivity.
+ A positive, solutions-oriented attitude and able to maintain a calm, professional demeanor, no matter the circumstances.
+ Experience with Guideline (formerly MediaTools) and the MediaOcean suite of products (Prisma, Spectra OX).
+ Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.)

Compensation Range: $176,700 - $276,210 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
