We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Vice President, TTS Ops Head - MYS Citibank Berhad (Internal Job Title: Cash & Trade Proc Group Manager - C14) based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The TTS Client Operations (CO) Head role is a critical position responsible for managing multiple teams through other managers and cluster / regional partners. The overall objective of this role is to oversee execution of business imperatives, superior Client experience, financial & productivity targets and implementation of the local, regional & global strategies.

In this role, you’re expected to:

Actively engaging with businesses and functions to provide strategic direction from TTS Client Operations perspectiveDeveloping, implementing and managing/monitoring the strategyUnderstanding and planning for the short and long term needs of the O&T organization related to human resources, client experience, processes, risk and controlsDeveloping a senior team of direct staff that is best-in-class in their respective key rolesSuccession planning and strong back-ups for all key/critical rolesLead and coordinate all operations functions including oversight of outsourced processes, with a focus on improved efficiency and qualityMaintaining a strong focus on the delivery of high-quality customer services through O&T processes and platforms that are reflected in high degrees of customer satisfactionEnsuring O&T resources are appropriately aligned with the requirements of the businessTaking a leadership role in exploring and developing key themes within O&T such as regionalization, straight-through processing and outsourcing, leveraging organizational resources within and outside O&T to drive and implement those themesMaintaining a strong control and compliance environment throughout the O&T organization that can rapidly adapt to changes in the regulatory and compliance environmentProactively raising issues and addressing all O&T issues completely and in a timely manner through the drafting, implementation and tracking of relevant Corrective Action Plans (CAPs)Maintaining permanent controls readiness and obtaining satisfactory audit ratings across all auditable O&T entities and contributing to successful audits for businesses and functions that rely on O&T as an enablerMinimizing operating losses through proactive risk and control process (lessons learnt mechanism), identification of issuesCreating a conducive working environment marked by high morale, team spirit, diversity and meritocracy throughout the O&T organization that can be measured through the VOE process and related indicators. Establishing procedures to measure, monitor and reduce employee turnoverLead all local major programs and complex projects including both regulatory and business driven initiativesManage outsourcing oversight and governance, inclusive of monitoring controls, quality, costs and the provision of data and information in respect to outsourcingTake responsibility for local Regulatory reporting and the Regulatory control matrix (RCM) including identifying and implementing all changes to laws/new regulatory requirements related to business areaIn coordination with other country stakeholders define an effective Crisis Management and ensure that the COB plan is timely maintained and testedWork closely with all stakeholders for collaborative and successful execution of Business and Operations ImperativesActively engage on projects, resolve escalated complex issues and balance potentially conflicting needsWork closely with the ASEAN TTS Ops Cluster lead to assist on execution of cluster-level strategiesAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

10+ years of experience in a people / functional line management roleInternal and External Stakeholder managementConsistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communicationAttention to detail and intermediate problem solving skillsProject management/execution and delivery experienceExperience in delivering results and meeting financial plans

Skills:

Strong interpersonal/relationship and influence skillsDemonstrated ability to measurably improve cycle time and overall efficiencyDemonstrated ability to improve satisfaction levels of business partners with quality of service/delivery

Education:

Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experienceMaster’s degree preferred

Competencies:
