As the Senior Vice President of Merchant Strategy, you will be responsible for leading the strategic planning and execution of initiatives that drive growth, innovation, and competitiveness in the dynamic merchant services industry. As a key leader in the organization, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of our merchant services offerings and play a significant role in achieving our business objectives. **What you’ll do:** + Develop a comprehensive strategic roadmap that aligns with Fiserv's overall business goals and positions the Merchant Solutions Business for long-term success. + Identify market trends, customer behaviors, and competitive dynamics that influence merchant services and define strategic priorities, key initiatives, and performance metrics to measure the success of the merchant strategy. + Lead cross-functional teams in developing innovative product strategies, pricing models, and differentiation tactics to meet the evolving needs of merchants. + Identify opportunities for new product development, partnerships, and acquisitions to expand Fiserv's merchant solutions portfolio, and collaborate with product teams to drive innovation and enhancements that deliver value to merchant clients. + Monitor the competitive landscape within the merchant services industry, analyze competitor strategies, and identify areas for differentiation and market leadership while keeping a pulse on customer needs, pain points, and preferences to inform market positioning strategies and customer-centric solutions. + Represent Fiserv at industry events, conferences, and forums to build brand visibility, thought leadership, and collaboration opportunities; establish and nurture strategic partnerships with key industry stakeholders, payment networks, financial institutions, and technology providers; and enhance Fiserv's merchant offerings and identify collaboration opportunities, joint ventures, and strategic alliances to drive business growth and market expansion. + Collaborate with finance and analytics teams to develop financial models, forecasts, and KPIs to track the performance and ROI of strategic initiatives and drive initiatives to optimize cost structures, improve scalability, and enhance profitability. + Present regular updates, strategic plans, and performance reports to senior leadership, executive teams, and key stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency in merchant strategy execution and lead cross-functional communication efforts to engage and align teams across product, sales, marketing, and operations functions on strategic goals, initiatives, and progress updates. + Responsibilities listed are not intended to be all-inclusive and may be modified as necessary. **Experience you’ll need to have:** + 15+ years of progressive experience in strategic planning, business development, product management, or related roles within the merchant services or financial technology industry + 5+ years in a leadership role focused on strategic plan implementation, resulting in increased market share, revenue growth and client satisfaction + 5+ years of experience managing high-performing teams and driving strategic initiatives from conception to implementation + Experience synthesizing complex data, market trends, and customer insights into actionable strategies + Experience engaging with and fostering collaboration across diverse stakeholders, both internally and externally + Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field **Experience that would be great to have:** + Master of Business Administration **How you’ll work:** + Fiserv emphasizes in-person collaboration to help you grow your career while shaping the future of fintech; this role is on-site Monday through Friday. **Travel:** + Approximately 25% travel off-site or to other office locations is expected. **Sponsorship:** + In order to be considered, you must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without need for visa sponsorship now or in the future. **Benefits at Fiserv:** + Fuel Your Life program to support your physical, financial, social, and emotional well-being + Paid holidays and generous time away policies + No-cost mental health support through Employee Assistance Programs + Living Proof program to recognize your peers’ extra effort with points redeemable for rewards + Eight Employee Resource Groups to foster a collaborative culture and expand your network + Unparalleled professional growth with training, development, and internal mobility opportunities + Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance options available from day one + Retirement planning and discounted shares with the Employee Stock Purchase Plan + Tuition assistance and reimbursement program + Paid parental, caregiver, and military leave \#P3M **Salary Range** $0.00 - $0.00 _These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey, New York and California.
