Corporate Solutions (CS) Regional Head – Asia Pacific (AP)
Overview
Driving growth in B2B payments with new customers is one of Mastercard’s highest strategic priorities and greatest opportunities. Expanding our presence in carded commercial POS and B2B accounts payable flows is essential to capturing new payment flows. While the opportunity is significant, these are emerging areas that require innovative product offerings, customer-driven go-to-market strategies, and new capabilities to unlock sustainable revenue growth.
The Corporate Solutions (CS) Regional Head of Asia Pacific (AP) will lead Mastercard’s expansion in business-to-business payments for the Large & Mid-Market corporate segments, addressing the full procurement lifecycle with scalable, multi-rail solutions. This executive will drive the development of a robust two-sided network of Buyers and Suppliers, delivering accelerated GDV and revenue growth across the region.
The Regional Head will own the end-to-end regional strategy, lead a cross-functional team spanning business development, acceptance, and product, and ensure execution is fully aligned with market needs and Mastercard’s global vision. This includes managing to aggressive commercial targets while operating within defined budget parameters.
This leader will also ensure strong alignment with Country and Divisional offices, supporting broader market share, revenue, and brand goals, and actively managing key internal stakeholders. Externally, they will lead relationship management across corporate and transaction banking divisions of issuer banks, acquirers, platform and processor partners, fintechs, and regulators.
The role includes acting as a thought leader and spokesperson for Corporate Solutions in AP, participating in key industry and client forums. The Regional Head will also serve as the regional point of contact for M&A activity, identifying and supporting strategic opportunities that advance the business.
This position reports jointly to the EVP – Corporate Solutions and the Regional Head of Commercial New Payment Flows (CNPF) for Asia Pacific.

Key Responsibilities
Strategy Development & Execution
•\tDefine and execute AP’s Corporate Solutions strategy, aligned with global priorities and tailored to regional market needs.
•\tIdentify growth opportunities across verticals, segments, and geographies; drive platform partnerships and strategic M&A.
•\tProvide local insights to global teams to shape product roadmaps and investment priorities.
In-Market Business Development & Sales
•\tLead go-to-market efforts across Buyer and Supplier channels:
o\tBuyer-side: B2B2Corporate, Direct2Corporate, Partner2Corporate
o\tSupplier-side: Acquirers/PSPs, Direct2Supplier, B2B2Supplier, Marketplaces/Aggregators
•\tDeliver aggressive targets across Revenue, GDV, GAV, Deal Value, and flow growth, with a strategy to scale GDV and Net Revenue 3–5x.
•\tBuild and grow Mastercard’s B2B network, enhancing value for all participants.
Sales Management & Execution
•\tLeverage payments innovation and cross-functional expertise to drive adoption and commercial outcomes across customer segments.
•\tOversee end-to-end sales execution across buyer-side channels, including pipeline management, deal structuring, and go-live.
•\tLead supplier-side BD efforts, managing key relationships with acquirers, PSPs, and aggregators.
•\tSupport complex deal closures and coordinate account strategy with country and divisional teams.
•\tManage internal communications and external BD events to enhance market visibility and engagement.
Product Leadership
•\tProvide strategic oversight of the regional product team through the Regional Product Head.
•\tEnsure product localization aligns with market needs and Mastercard’s global platform roadmap.
•\tPartner with the EVP – Corporate Solutions to represent AP in global product prioritization, influencing feature/function development.
•\tDrive innovation by translating customer feedback into actionable product enhancements that scale across markets.
•\tDemonstrate leadership across the full product lifecycle with a record of bringing commercially viable solutions to market.
Financial Performance & Reporting
•\tOwn the AP Corporate Solutions P&L, managing revenue, expenses, pricing strategy, and profitability.
•\tLead annual planning, forecasting, and reporting processes across business development, acceptance, and product.
•\tMonitor performance against KPIs including GDV, revenue, yield, and pipeline health; deliver regular updates to global leadership.
People Leadership
•\tBuild and lead a high-performing regional team across BD, acceptance, and product.
•\tDrive a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
•\tManage talent development, succession planning, and team performance across the region.
Stakeholder Management
•\tBuild strong partnerships with internal stakeholders across country offices, global product teams, and divisional leadership.
•\tExternally, engage with financial institutions, fintechs, platforms, regulators, and enterprise clients.
•\tRepresent Mastercard in industry events and forums as the regional voice of Corporate Solutions.
•\tAct as the regional point for Corporate Solutions M&A activity, identifying and supporting strategic growth opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience
•\tDeep expertise in B2B payments, commercial or transaction banking, and enterprise financial technology.
•\tProven ability to lead strategy, launch scalable products, and drive commercial success across complex markets.
•\tDemonstrated experience managing regional P&Ls and delivering against aggressive growth targets.
•\tStrong leadership in matrixed, cross-functional environments with the ability to align global and regional priorities.
•\tExpertise in go-to-market strategy, solution selling, and customer success.
•\tExperience in building and influencing relationships at C-Suite level with financial institutions, fintechs, merchants, governments, regulators, and internal stakeholders to drive strategic outcomes.
•\tStrong stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills across internal and external audiences.
