Senior Vice President, Contract Logistics
Position: Senior Vice President, Contract Logistics The Senior Vice President (SVP), Contract Logistics leads a high-performing team responsible for designing and delivering complex, high-value supply chain solutions. This product leader is accountable for operational execution, innovation, and customer satisfaction across wholesale fulfillment, eCommerce, reverse logistics, and vertical-specific logistics services. The SVP plays a key role in advancing the organization’s position in sectors such as high-tech, data center, and medical logistics. Core Responsibilities & Duties: + Develop and execute the long-term vision and strategic plan for the Contract Logistics division. + Align service capabilities with market needs in high-complexity verticals. + Partner cross-functionally with Sales, IT, Finance, and Customer Success to integrate logistics solutions seamlessly. + Lead long-range planning for facility footprint, automation investments, and technology enablement to support scalable growth. + Represent the logistics function in Board/ELT-level updates and strategic planning sessions. + Lead and continuously improve all aspects of fulfillment (eCommerce and wholesale), reverse logistics (including in-house sorting and repair), and distribution operations. + Apply Lean and Six Sigma principles to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency. + Ensure the delivery of consistent, high-quality service in accordance with client SLAs and KPIs. + Oversee multi-site operations with full P&L ownership and responsibility for delivering margin and cost targets. + Standardize SOPs, KPIs, and WMS practices across all warehouse and fulfillment sites. + Drive automation, robotics, and other tech-based initiatives to improve productivity and reduce cost-per-unit. + Lead implementation of inventory control systems and ensure regulatory compliance across facilities. + Design and manage contingency planning for peak seasons, labor volatility, and supply chain disruptions. + Support enterprise sales efforts with solution design and operational readiness. + Maintain executive-level relationships with key clients and partners. + Lead contract negotiations, implementation plans, and ongoing operational governance. + Inspire and develop a high-energy, collaborative team environment across multiple sites and functions. + Coach and mentor senior leaders and managers to foster accountability, innovation, and operational rigor. + Foster a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and frontline empowerment. Qualifications: + Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience in contract logistics, supply chain operations, or a related field. + Demonstrated success overseeing high-complexity logistics or fulfillment environments, preferably across eCommerce, high-tech, or medical sectors. + Lean Six Sigma certification. + Proven ability to lead multifunctional teams and scale operations in a high-growth environment. + Expertise in using data, metrics, and dashboards to drive performance and decision-making. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to inspire, coach, and align diverse teams. + Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and strict deadlines without compromising quality or compliance. + Must be able to perform all essential and marginal job functions, work collaboratively within teams, and adapt to evolving business needs and schedules .
