We are looking for a Senior Verification Technologist who is responsible for performing complex system tests for development and performance of new and modified consumables, hardware, software, or assays. The Senior Verification Technologist will be responsible for having knowledge of various test fixtures and strong instrument troubleshooting abilities.

Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities: 

Executes Verification Testing Protocols on all existing Systems and new platforms in  developmentDocuments test results in accordance with standard operating procedureAbility to understand relationship between the requirement(s) outlined and actual system resultsWorks independently as well as with the team to complete the assigned work on scheduleStrong serological background with ability to prepare dilutions and perform manual testing with various metholdogiesPerforms maintenance on the systems when neededMaintains lab work surfaces and lab spaceAbility to recognize system processing anomalies and erroneous results and communicate as needed Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position:

Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Bachelor’s Degree in, Life Sciences or other sciences or technical field, preferredMLT (ASCP) or MT (ASCP) certification designation, requiredExperience in medical testing laboratory with automatic testing systems, desired but not requiredStrong understanding of document management principles and best practices
