YOUR ROLE


Join our dynamic team as a Senior VAT Compliance Specialist, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our tax processes are smooth and efficient. Based in Wroclaw, you'll be responsible for preparing and submitting VAT returns, EC Sales Lists, and INTRASTAT declarations, while also archiving tax documentation according to established standards. You’ll work closely with tax authorities, addressing inquiries and managing inspections, while collaborating with tax advisors. Your role involves preparing data for financial audits and maintaining clear communication with CFOs and local tax managers. As you monitor VAT accounts and stay updated on tax law changes, you'll have the chance to propose system improvements and participate in exciting projects. WHO YOU ARE

 

 

Minimum of 3 years of experience in VAT compliance or tax-related roles.Solid understanding of VAT regulations and tax reporting requirements.Proficient in preparing tax returns and managing tax documentation.Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for monitoring VAT accounts.Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.Experience with financial audits and providing necessary explanations to auditors.Ability to adapt to changes in tax laws and propose process improvements.Familiarity with tax software and financial systems is a plus.Fluency in English is mandatory, Polish or German is preferred.
