About the role
As a Senior UX Researcher on the Consumer digital team, you will work closely with designers, product managers and other stakeholders to create and refine digital experiences that improve the lives of our users. Using mixed-methods research, you’ll support teams by bringing clarity to ambiguity with user insights throughout the product development process, from early-stage discovery to launch and evaluation. The role is essential in delivering seamless and intuitive user experiences that are grounded in user needs.
What You’ll Do
Help product teams determine the right research questions to ask.
Lead end-to-end user research to inform product strategy, choosing methods appropriate to the questions at hand, including but not limited to interviews, contextual inquiry, surveys, moderated and unmoderated testing, diary studies, A/B testing and baseline studies.
Work closely with designers, product managers, engineers and other stakeholders, delivering insights that help inform business strategy and goals while advocating for our users.
Use your interpersonal skills to forge strong relationships with product teams, and your presentation and storytelling skills to clearly communicate user insights to different audiences.
Champion user needs and advocate for usability and accessibility, ensuring that users are at the center of what we build.
Mentor junior researchers.
Promote and evangelize best practices in UX research methodologies, ethics, and data privacy.
Contribute to the ongoing improvement of research frameworks, processes, and tools.
Lead workshops with internal stakeholders to determine assumptions and gaps in knowledge.
Basic Qualifications
7+ years of UX research experience, ideally in health tech or regulated industries.
Accustomed to conducting research in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
A portfolio that demonstrates past work experience and deliverables.
Tools: UserZoom/UserTesting, Qualtrics, Confluence, Miro
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
A degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Anthropology, or a related field.
Ability to travel in the US and abroad.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in the healthcare field and/or medical devices a plus.

Individual pay decisions are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.
At ResMed, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current base range for this position is: $138,000 - $208,000
