We are seeking a Senior User Experience Designer (individual contributor) to help us create a simple, modern wealth management platform that enables world-class efficiency and highly personalized experiences for Advisors and Associate Wealth Advisors in the Wealth and Advice Solutions (WAS) organization. Through close partnership with WAS stakeholders, you will play a key role in shaping and enhancing digital experiences that elevate the rep experience.

 

Your primary focus will be on translating strategic insights into actionable experience concepts by defining the structure, flow, and content of the solution. Additionally, you will visualize design ideas through interactive prototypes that communicate the intended user experience, helping to align teams, gather feedback, and guide development.

 

While your primary user persona will be Advisors, you will need to stay connected to the Sales and Service experiences and capabilities. This is essential as several tasks and workflows cross over between these personas, and a cohesive, consistent, and intuitive rep desktop is crucial for overall success. You will facilitate alignment and decision-making across business stakeholders, product owners, and technology partners, requiring excellent relationship management and executive presence.

 

What you are good at:

 

Design Consulting

Facilitate collaborative design sessions including sketching and ideationLead design reviews and drive decisionsCreate design solutions with a multi-faceted team, considering how digital, physical, and service channels work togetherRepresent the design team brand and deliver a consistent design process to partners.Understand that great designs are achieved iterativelyVisualize ideas in a clear form (sketch, diagram, wireframe, or prototype) and provide appropriate level documentation

Design Management

Set expectations with the project team and prioritize activitiesCreate and maintain design schedulesCommunicate status and agreements with project teamReview work with UX managers, keep them updated on project status and escalate items appropriately

Design Expertise and Execution

Take a systematic approach to designing interfaces, ensuring consistency across experiencesConduct the primary design activities, create deliverables, and conduct QA at an expert levelParticipate and support research effortsCommit to improving our process and methods with an emphasis on both effectiveness and efficiency

Teamwork, Collaboration and Engagement

Collaborate with Product Owners, Solution Architects, and other stakeholders to craft solutions that meet business objectives and user needsStrategically listen to feedback and help guide the deliveryEvolving design mindset that is not rigidly fixed when presented with new informationPassionate about team, our mission and the needs of our partners and usersEnthusiastic about solving complex problems What you have

Required Qualifications:

BA/BFA degreeMore than 5 years of design experience on digital products and in a financial services environment with in-depth understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem, technology applications, business architecture, client and representative experience, and project management Background in Enterprise Environments, Business and IT Strategy, Agile, Lean, Process Design, Program Management, Customer Relationship Management processes and technologies Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization Demonstrated ability to communicate design rationale that connects user needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility Comfort in a dynamic and fast-moving work environment, with a positive attitude and solid work ethic Self-starter with outstanding organizational skills Ability to track and manage multiple projects Knowledge of Agile methods and processes

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong understanding and/or experience with financial services regulationsKnowledge of Schwab products, services and support systems

 

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
