About the jobOur Team:During the first year after the creation of Business Operations we have mainly concentrated on centralizing activities, building scale and standing foundations for Sanofi’s transformation. Now, we enter a new chapter that focuses on value creation by standardizing and harmonizing critical processes across the enterprise, reducing fragmentation, simplifying and modernizing our ways of working.
The role of “capacity & resource planning” Manager is responsible for forecasting, planning and optimizing the transition workforce capacity and tower hiring plan to align BO transition program needs. He plays a pivotal role in transition organization effectiveness in ensuring that the workforce aligns with the operational demands.
Main responsibilities:1- Forecasting & Capacity PlanningTransition capacity planningDevelop and deliver detailed short and mid-term capacity plans with clear milestones, timelines, identifying interdependencies by analyzing function needs to define the requirementsUse in-depth knowledge to steer forecast needs vs. transition plannings based on project/wave milestonesAllocate staffing models to ensure overall performance with the different transition phases and expected deliverablesOptimize staffing levels across transition projects, by profile and seniority levelsMonitor the progress of the capacity planning, and make necessary adjustments to transition plans as neededOptimize resources allocation per tower / transition project to meet transformation requirementsReview and consolidate the organization’s transition portfolio outlining project scope, schedules and toll gate milestonesTower Hiring planHarmonize and standardize the hiring plan across towerMonitor progress, issues, actions plan in close collaboration with the tower, TA and transition teamConsolidate and communicate action plans to leadership team to mitigate risk on business continuity2- Data Analysis & ReportingIdentify opportunities to enhance capacity planning processes by leading the development of a sustainable and robust digital tool to monitor & share dashboards for senior leadershipOptimize reports and dashboard on capacity utilization and staffing efficiency for BO Leadership TeamMake innovative recommendations for improving global communication & performance to the tower and TA3- Stakeholder ManagementLead and schedule regular updates to senior leaders and stakeholdersEnsure that all stakeholders are informed about the capacity planning, their concerns are addressed and are actively involved throughout the processCollaborate with Tower Leads to understand needs and align capacity plansDefine action plans to mitigate risksProvide clear guidancePartner with the change management teams to ensure right narrative and messages are delivered consistentlyBuild and maintain a strong working relationship with business and functions, including key leadership TeamsDevelop strong relationships with senior leaders, key stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure their active involvement and endorsement of transition plans4- Training & Talent ManagementReview, build and provide training position to ensure proper role & responsibility across the transition organizationSteer the transition organization improvement opportunities to bring best-in-class way of working and workload distributionEvaluate the existing skills of transition teamsCreate training modules tailored to specific roles (Transition Architect, Transition Manager, Transition Specialist)Establish clear career path to motivate and retain talentSet measurable goals and regularly review performance5- Leadership & CommunicationProvide strong leadership throughout transformation process, inspiring and motivating teamsProvide effective communication, both upward to senior leadership and downward to employeesArticulate a clear and compelling vision of changeDefine target KPIs for program delivery, ensure benefits realization mechanisms are in place throughout and embedded after transitionsAbout youBachelor's degree in business, management, science, or a related field (master’s degree preferred)Proven track record of at least 10 years in driving successful business outcomesStrong understanding of transformation and design thinking methodologies, change management practices, project management principles, and continuous improvementLeadership skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams by navigating complexity in a matrixed and international environmentOutstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levelsAnalytical mindset and strategic thinking, with the ability to quickly ramp-up on complex business challenges and identify innovative solutionsStrong business acumen with a deep understanding of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapesHigh proficiency in English is mandatory due to the exposition to global activities and teams
