In this role, you will be managing Import/Export Operations: Overseeing day-to-day import/export activities, including HTSUS classification of goods (ADD/CVD analysis), Schedule B and ECCN analysis for exports, documentation, and interactions with customs brokers and other stakeholdersYou will also be staying up-to-date on regulations: Monitoring changes to US and international trade laws and regulations and communicating those changes to relevant teamsDuty optimization and preferential trade agreements are part of your role: Identifying opportunities to minimize duties and taxes using trade agreements and other legal mechanisms throughout Linde’s global supply chainFurther, you will be resolving compliance issues: Investigating and resolving any identified compliance topics, including potential penalties or auditsYou will be conducting audits and assessments: Regularly reviewing import and export processes to identify potential risks and ensure adherence to regulationsManaging relationships with regulatory agencies: Interacting with US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and other relevant agencies on trade compliance matters is part of your roleAdditionally, you will handle day-to-day functions of the trade compliance department and other duties as assigned
