We're currently seeking a **Senior to Principal Sustainability Consultant** to join our highly influential **Sustainability team** in either Bristol or London. You'll be an integral part of our collaborative and growing team, playing a key role in the development and delivery of a pipeline of exciting and complex projects.

In this dynamic role, you'll be instrumental in collaborating with client teams to identify opportunities for sustainable design measures and energy and carbon reduction initiatives, which includes leading workshops and attending meetings. You will also be responsible for identifying and highlighting the most impactful areas for influencing decision-makers, fostering improvement, and defining value drivers.
A key part of your role will involve preparing high-quality energy, sustainability, and climate change reports to advise clients and project teams, supporting crucial planning applications and masterplan developments. This includes effective data management, setting up, and maintaining robust project databases and calculation sheets.
Furthermore, you will participate in relevant external expert forums to advance and standardise environmental sustainability performance quantification, and you'll play a role in training and upskilling junior team members on relevant workstreams and project management activities.
**ABOUT YOU**
To succeed in this role, you'll need a strong track record as a Sustainability Consultant and the following:
+ A relevant degree (BEng (Hons) or BSc (Hons) or equivalent/higher).
+ Proven experience working as a **consultant** , with a track record in project delivery, client engagement, project management, and financial/people management.
+ A comprehensive understanding of **building environmental design** and **sustainability in the built environment as various scales** .
+ A proven track record in **building environmental modelling, building physics** , and other sustainability models such as energy modelling, and overheating and daylight/sunlight.
+ Proficiency with **IES modelling** , including Radiance, ApacheSIM, SBEM, and Macroflow. Knowledge of Apache HVAC is advantageous but not essential.
+ Experience working with **master planning and planning** across a range of asset classes (ideally mixed-use projects) including energy strategy development.
+ Experience delivering **planning reports** against LPAs across the UK in different context in particular Greater London Authority (GLA) policy requirements and detailed knowledge of applying GLA policy in different contexts.
+ Appetite for involvement in wider sustainability disciplines such as whole lifecycle carbon, circular economy, climate risk and adaptation encouraged.
