The Senior Testing Engineer will review testing strategy, build test plans, create test cases, and support testing activities. The Senior Test Lead will implement efficiencies including automation and standardization to maximize Vodafone benefits.

Leadership experience is a must. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, an in-depth understanding of the Digital ecosystem (Web, API), and strong solid experience in automation selenium Java.

What you’ll do Will lead a small teamHandle customer communication for testing squadUtilize VOIS testing methodology and comply with TMMi L3, analyzing testing requirements as the basis for developing testing scenariosDesign testing scenarios and test cases to demonstrate conformance to all functional and non-functional requirementsExecute tasks related to the production of the Test Plan, test cases, test scripts, and test dataAnalyze the results of the testing process and recommend solutionsDefine, identify, collect, and organize detailed information relating to testing requirementsInteract with the project team to gain an understanding of the business environment, technical context, and conformance criteriaUnderstand and use appropriate automated testing processes and toolsStay current on established tools, techniques, and technologiesSupport knowledge management and collaboration through participation in testing discussions and communities, improving testing collateral through lessons learnedParticipate in test plan preparationDistribute and assign tasks among team membersParticipate in initiatives (Telecom, BI, Mobile testing, SharePoint, Performance and Usability)Core Competencies, Knowledge, and Experience 5-8 years working in Testing1-2 years in leading2 years in automation using Selenium and JavaStrong understanding of software testing theories and proceduresExperience in Web TestingDeveloping test automation solutions in Java and SeleniumAutomation UI Testing (locators, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XPATH)Telco background preferredWorking experience with apps technologyExperience with industry test management tools (HP ALM, Jira, VSTS [Azure])Must-Have Technical/Professional Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, related technical field, or equivalent practical experienceExperience in developing test automation solutions in Selenium JavaLeading Experience is a mustExperience in automating build processes, application deployments, and continuous integration systems with CI/CD tools is a plusWhat's in it for you
